Keep

Small, framed oil paintings, all original art, all-inclusive pricing.

Introducing Keep, my newest collection of original paintings.

Keep is a collection of small original oil paintings inspired by the Pacific Northwest and the places I return to in my mind: open water, shifting light, distant mountains, the quiet presence of a horse.

There’s something honest about small work. It doesn’t try to dominate a room. It asks you to come closer.

This collection grew out of paying attention… to color at dusk, to reflected light, to the way landscape holds memory.

The name Keep felt right. These are the kinds of moments I don’t want to lose. These works are intimate in scale but layered in texture. They’re meant to be experienced up close. To live in spaces you move through every day. Each painting is framed in solid hardwood and finished with care. They arrive ready to hang or lean.

Every piece is one of one, and USPS ground shipping is included in the pricing.

Waterlilies Study 3
$400.00

11” x 14”

A study in movement and reflection, this original oil painting draws from the layered stillness of water lilies and the deep, shifting palette of the Pacific Northwest. Teal, indigo, and green move across the surface in loose, expressive strokes, capturing that in-between moment where water holds both light and shadow.

There is a rhythm here. Ripples expanding, forms dissolving and reappearing. Inspired by Monet’s water lilies oil paintings, but grounded in a more contemporary mood. This piece invites you to slow down, to look a little longer, to find what reveals itself over time.

Framed in a custom mahogany floating frame by a local Portland craftsman, adding warmth and depth to the cooler tones of the painting. Ready to hang.

This is a gallery-quality painting and a showstopping piece alone or on a gallery wall.

Part of the Keep collection—small, one-of-a-kind paintings inspired by the moments we hold onto. Fleeting light, quiet water, and the natural patterns that stay with us.

Moon Over Water
$225.00

11” x 14”

A study in depth and stillness, this original oil painting captures the quiet pull of a full moon over open water. Layers of deep blue, indigo, and teal move across the surface, creating a horizon that feels both distant and intimate. The light of the moon rests softly on the water, holding a moment of calm within the darker tones.

There is a sense of pause here. A night sky stretched wide, the ocean steady beneath it. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest coast, this piece reflects those quiet, expansive moments where everything slows and settles.

Oil painting on an artisan-crafted wood panel, framed in a custom mahogany floating frame by a local Portland craftsman, adding warmth and grounding to the cooler palette. Framed and ready to hang.

Part of the Keep collection—small, one-of-a-kind paintings inspired by the moments we hold onto. Light on water, stillness, and the feeling of space to breathe.

USPS Ground Shipping included in the USA.

About the artist

Jodi Kendall paints the way she sees the world—exploring movement and moments, in layers.

Deep blues of moving water, streaks of light caught in tree branches, the rough grain of old-growth wood beneath her hands. The sky shifting from pale mist to heavy storm clouds, the way rain softens the edges of everything.

Her paintings are a reflection of it all, built slowly and intentionally, layer by layer, until they feel just right.
